Welcome to Paula Levinrad
Licensed Clinical Social WorkerOur beliefs live in our hearts as well as our heads, and strongly influence our decisions and actions.
I work with children and families, adolescents and adults, striving to give people the support they need to achieve self understanding, personal growth and balance in their lives. In a safe and supportive atmosphere of acceptance and empowerment I focus on helping you become aware of what you believe and access your innate abilities. Through a process of respectful and systemic curiosity, open ended questions, and reflections I will help you sort out what you want, how you feel, what makes you happy, and what gets in the way of your personal relationships, while finding and developing strategies to improve your life and always empowering you to be in charge of this process.
Oregon Board Approved Supervisor for Registered Interns
I have supervised since 2009 and have completed the necessary training to supervise towards Licensure for Masters of Social Workers, Professional Counselors and Marriage & Family Therapists. My approach to Clinical Supervision is anchored in using a holistic approach within a foundation of a Systemic, Contextual, Attachment and Family of Origin Theory framework. My approach is to provide interactive supervision by inviting emotions into the room while working with intention. I work collaboratively while providing supportive, focused and evaluative feedback. I emphasize noticing the body responses to stress, fear, grief and loss which I believe facilitates an integration of the whole person by bringing together mind and body.
